With its classic floral deigns and cute vintage motifs, it is clear to say that Cath Kidston is my favourite brand and a certain obsession of mine. The mention of a sale sent my bank balance into decline.
After picking up and choosing the many items I have lusted over the past year but could not afford, I set upon looking at some home pieces that they do as I am about to move into my 3rd year University house and need some sweet items to add to my growing baking and kitchen ware collection.
Thought I would just give you a peek at some of my items that I picked up and adore currently...
Firstly is the "Brighten Up Postcards Frame Bag", this bag I have wanted for a long time and at £32 down from £55 I thought I would treat myself. This large printed bag is made out of a shiny PVC material that is perfect to keep clean and pretty. I am in love with the design and think the postcards create a very retro look that can be matched with any outfit. The bag is closes in a cute clasp in a bronze finish and compliments the overall vintage look and its beige strap makes this bag a cute day to day bag that I plan to use alot! One downside to the bag would be that I wouldn't recommend using it for heavy items as the clasp could break; however for essentials it is perfect and the inside's contrasting pink dotted pattern is lovely, I just wish it came in other patterns!

The next items I brought were part of Cath Kidston's Kitchenware section and will be items that I will regularly use in my new house. Firstly, is the "Big Spot Oven Gauntlet or Glove", this glove consists of a large polka dot pattern is a lovely blue and white contrast. I think this glove is perfect for the quick cake bake or yummy home cooked dinner as it is long enough to reach the elbow and prevent any burns that may occur (especially if you're as clumsy as I am!) Made of cotton and Polyester it is easily cleaned and I believe is a useful item in the kitchen at only £8.

To match the oven gloves, I couldn't resist the "Big Spot Bowls" to match! These are perfect for anything from picnics to day use. This is because they are both plastic and Washing Machine friendly and come in a set of 6 in a range of colours from yellow to pink and at £12 I couldn't resist!!
The only item that I purchased that was not in the sale was the "Safari Stanley Mug" this was because even though it was £6.50, I felt that it was worth the price as it is large enough for that perfect cup of tea! The mug is made out of fine china and being both dishwasher and microwave safe, the cute giraffe motif was hard to not buy. As part of Cath's new Safari pattern it is very pretty and for all giraffe lovers, like me it is a nice item to have.
Cath Kidston "Safari Stanley Mug" £6.50
The next item that I brought was one that I have lusted over for ages, the "Aubrey Rose Folded Zip Wallet", with it's classic Cath Kidston design and its quirky leather features; you can see why it is currently the brands best selling purse. With 12 slots it is perfect for the large number of cards I have collected over the years and for any added bits.
The purse as a whole is made up of a PVC coated cotton and therefore is easily kept clean and contrasts well with its leather features. I would defiantly recommend this purse to anyone that is in need of a compact yet secure purse, that is full of added pieces.
Cath Kidston "Aubrey Rose Folded Zip Wallet" £28 (£14)
Cath Kidston has a wide range of clothing and when I saw these shorts I couldn't help but try them on. The Grove Rose shorts are perfect for a summer day out, paired with a white tee, denim jacket and sandals or dressed up for a night out with heels and a Cami top. Made out of a cotton like material and being comfortable, I couldn't help but buy them. The blue background against the red floral pattern compliments each other and the size fits to your figure in the right places. For £22, they are worth every penny!!
Cath Kidston "Grove Rose Shorts" £22 (Was £35)
Would love to hear what you think of Cath Kidston?
